I now am a monument salesman for a company in Vincennes Indiana. My health now keeps me from going to cemeteries as much as I would like, but I still get out a few times a year. I enjoy being in the cemeteries not only to work but to learn so many interesting facts about our ancestors.
Laura Ryan In Lawrence County you have posted a photo for "Livia Ryan" on the entry for Laura Ryan...in Zion Cemetery. Would you remove the photo from Laura's memorial and add it to the one for Livia? Thank you so much!
Raney & Barmes Headstones Thank you with all my heart for the beautiful headstone photos for the 3 sisters: Amanda & Dorothy Raney, & Ruby Barmes. Since they each were on a joint headstone with their spouses, I have now made memorials for the spouses. Would you mind attaching the photos to them, as well? Also, Amanda's daughter, Mae Raney, was on her headstone & I made her a memorial. The memorial #s, as follows:
Amanda Raney #111067939, Otis Raney #111122142 & Mae Raney #111123532. Dorothy Raney #111067495 & Roy Thomas Raney #111067602. Lois Ruby Barmes #111067495 & Cleo Lester Barmes #111067602.
Your kindness will always be deeply appreciated! Have a great day...
RE: GROVES Sorry I have not replied sooner just out of hospital from knee replacement. Not much brain power right now. Battled breathing issues and then medicine interacitons. Hope to be back to genealogy soon. I just didn't want you to think I wasn't grateful... I am...
RE: GROVES Wow... Jay! You are a wealth of knowledge, I have printed off your note to keep with my files. Looks like I have more work to do. The rest of the GROVES stayed around central IL. Logan, DeWitt, and Macon Counties. Another brother of Charles lived in Ramsey, Illinois. I am very curious to find how these other GROVES may be connected. I had Charlie & Roxie's info, and their children,,, but more GROVES? Did I read correctly that Uncle Charlie & Roxie are buried in consecutive spaces with a Howard E, and two Azlee's??? Thanks so much...more research ahead. This is wonderful! JANE GROVES HURT
