I've been a grave wanderer since I was very young, accompanying my mother to the cemetery to visit her mother, and then wandering around with her to read the headstones, practice my math by figuring out their ages, trying to guess their stories, straightening flowers, and being grateful for life.

My mother has been gone for many years now, but I continue my favorite hobby and have added to it cemetery photography. I was thrilled to discover findagrave and have so many pictures waiting to be edited to pour over and add!

I also have MS and, as a result, cannot get out during hot months as it aggravates my symptoms (which is unfortunately most of the year where I live!). But when feasible, I will still make an effort to assist in locating graves.

Living in a big city has SO many benefits, and I love my city dearly! The only disappointing part, as far as Find A Grave has been concerned, has been that so many of the cemeteries have already been all mapped out & photographed. I love the newest feature Find A Grave has instituted, showing the % of a graveyard photographed! Gives me a new challenge!

I haven't done too many memorials (YET), but if you find one, and it's not my own family, I'll gladly transfer. Also if there is anything else I can do for anyone, please let me know and I will happily assist if I can!!

To check out some of my "real" cemetery photography, come visit me on Facebook or Flickr!
