RE: Cypress Hills Cemetery
I think he is a volunteer at Cypress Hill. He is helping clear up all of the records. He said, if he could document the changes, the admins would change the records. He wanted to confirm the name and death date of a Tippah County, MS native that was wounded and captured at Gettysburg, and died in the NY hospital. The CSA vet from Ripley, MS was Green McCarley. You photographed his stone and sponsored his memorial at Findagrave. And I thank you most sincerely.

Digger

PS,
His record at Cypress matches ours at Findagrave.

Cypress Hills Cemetery
Russ,
I just got a request for information concerning
Green McCarley, buried at Cypress Hills National Cemetery in NY.

You photographed that stone for me back in 2000, now someone needs the information for the records at Cypress Hills.

And I thank you most sincerely,
Digger

Tannenberg again
http://www.ordensland.de/Tannenberg/tannenberg.html

This shows a series of photos. Near the bottom are several of the cenotaph stone for Ulrich von Jungingen.

Is the "cemetery" you created at Tannenberg the one I need to use?

Thanks again, Kendall

Tannenberg Memorial - location?
Hello, Russ! I found your memorial for Paul von Hindenburg at the Tannenberg Memorial and would like to create a memorial for at least one other person who is either buried or has a cenotaph there. However, when I check Wikipedia, the location appears to be different, rather in Olsztyn County, in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tannenberg_Memorial)
I'm not sure whether I need to create a new cemetery for Ulrich von Jungingen, who fell at Tannenberg and who is said to be memorialized on the monument there, whether yours is the one I need.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Kendall Mellem

Alexander Mitchell Beattie
I have a photo of Medal of Honor winner Alexander Mitchell Beattie but findagrave has determined that no mores photos are needed. But there are no photos of him. Is there a way to add a photo of him?

Thanks,

Mike

Joseph Reed memorial #20308
You have posted a headstone photo for Joseph Reed memorial #20308.

I see that their daughter is on the headstone and I created a memorial for her at #132136741 and requested a photo. If you post your photo on it then you will get credit and I will get a photo. The first photo is the list has the clearest picture of her portion of the stone so that would be a great one to post. Thank you for all that you do for findagrave.
