I helped co-write state laws to protect our cemeteries here in Texas. |
I've been Honored by the Texas State Senate, Texas State House of Representatives, The Dallas County Historical Commission for my work in preserving and protecting our cemeteries. I served on The State Senate Advisory Committee as well as being an Advisor to a number of cities in my area pertaining to cemeteries within their city limits. I have helped in clean ups and restoring a number of cemeteries. I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever.
I served six years on the Duncanville City Council, two years as mayor pro-tem.
I've been working on family genealogy since 1976. I'm the wife of Wallace Richards.

Thank you for connecting the Hollingsworths to the parents. I know there were more children, but don't know where they are all buried.

I have been researching my husband's family.
There is a George B Kennon Sr buried there. I do not know if this is the right one for my husband's tree. Do you happen to have any information on him.

You may wish to add your tribute to the memorial for Thomas S. Anderson, #87534481, Holly Springs Cemetery, Van Zandt Co. Tx. Looks like you'll soon have 100K flowers! Good work!

My ggrandfather was wounded several times, lastly at Gettysburg and taken prisoner; in lieu of the US Purple Heart what was given for wounded Confederates? I would be pleased if you found time to add to his memorial, Find A Grave #39581890. Thanks,
|Red||Thomas Massie Boyd|
You submitted information for CPL Boyd's bio; however, I already have that information in another form in his bio section. Please do not leave lengthy explanations of meanings of service medals in the flower section, it is not an appropriate place to do so. Thank you
