I enjoy reading old newspapers (Library of Congress website) and trying to match the stories and articles to the memorials here on F-A-G. I have found a very nice endorsement of Maclay Hoyne in "The Day Book" (Chicago IL) for 10/14/1916.
I thought you might like to read it.

Dear Brenda: You are so welcome. It is an honor for me to leave flowers for my friends family and loved ones. What a beautiful tribute you did on your Dad's memorial. I loved North Carolina when I lived there. I lived in Sanford and Lemon Springs for 2 and half years back in the 60's. I loved the people and the woods. Take care dear friend.
|Clara Pasko||RE: Hogle Update|
Since these Hogles are part of your family, would you like me to transfer them to you so you can link the parents, marriages, etc.
I also have death information for Daniel Hogel death date Nov 27, 1895 0 age, maybe stillborn, parents Jas F. & Lillian Hogel. May be buried here also but no Sexton record to back it up.

Hi Brenda, I hope you are having a great summer as well. I've been busy. My Dad's dog died and then my Aunt my Dad's sister died a few days later. We had to go from Florida to Southern Maryland for the funeral. Now I think this company called Affixhub was trying to scam me. This company popped up on my computer and I couldn't get it to anything until I talked to these people. They said my computer was infected with 3,600 some viruses and they could clean my computer. They wanted get this $699.00 for a lifetime membership or $599.00 for 5 years. They didn't have a year or 2 year membership. And they don't take credit cards just checks. They wouldn't answer my question when I asked why are you so expensive. I told them I wasn't interested but now they are pestering me because they claim they cleaned up the viruses. I didn't tell them to. So now I really don't know what to do. Because I feel now there really probably was nothing wrong with this computer. I have Webroot already. So I hope this goes away soon. On my bio page I have told people to be aware of these people. Have a nice weekend. Your friend Diana.

Brenda, I am trying to find more info on the Neurological conditions that run in the Messer family. I came to visit you years ago and we shared photos. At that time, you had been in contact with my mother who was doing her family genealogy. My grandfather was Jarvis Hannibel Messer, son of Robert Vance and Tina Waycaster. My father and mother have both passed away, but I believe my father had some of the CMT traits, but was never diagnosed. Also, I have a second cousin with Tourretts. I am picking up the family genealogy and would like to talk to you. Please contact me.

Brenda, I work very hard on my genealogy, and try to make it as accurate as possible, based on family records and actual documents. How would you feel if people wrote incorrect things about YOUR family? Please, I meant no disrespect or impoliteness; I just made a request.
|Ellon Carpenter||My ancestors|
Hi Brenda, I see that you are the person who "maintains" the sites for some of my relatives. Unfortunately, some of the information you have provided is incorrect. For example, the father of William Bradford Carpenter (1842-1927) is not William but Washington Carpenter. I understand your interest in genealogy, but I would appreciate it if you would check your information before you add it. Thank you.
