|Hi, my name is Gordon Philbin.|
I love history and giving actors and people that were part of history on my FindAGrave page.
I just started today and I do hope people comment on my people I have listed.
When I am older, I plan to go to Hollywood and become an actor and director.

|Duke Fuller||Bob Bailey updates|
Thank you very much for approving my suggestions. Myself and my late father were huge fans of his "your truly, Johnny Dollar" radio programs. I was fortunate to locate his internment yesterday and was pleased to see that he is with his parents and young son. Perhaps you can change his memorial to famous status? Thank you again for all you do

Hello, I posted a clearer picture, but did not mean to remove the marker request. I actually am planning on going out to photograph his marker tomorrow or Tues. I apologize for the mix-up. Duke

Find A Grave # 157021036 now exists for Buddy Lester's father, James Tomarse "James Ormont" Goldberg. I am unable to link # 81647391 and # 157021036.

Buddy Lester's father was James Tomarse Goldberg, born in Lodz, Russia on October 24, 1881. His mother's name was Pauline M. Wolf, born in Illinois in 1885. His father was also known as James T. Ormont, a music critic for newspapers in Chicago and New York. His father lived in retirement in Sherman Oaks, CA before his passing on August 28, 1962. Buddy's birth name was Albert Francis Goldberg. He was the brother of Lester L. Goldberg, also a comedian known as Jerry Lester. Buddy's wife, Lael Rose Smit, was born on August 13, 1917 in South Haven, Michigan, and passed away on April 22, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had one son, Paul Lester, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sylvia J.) Jensen. Following a battle with cancer at a Van Nuys nursing home Buddy's funeral was held on October 9, 2002 in Reseda, CA.

Gordon - I tried to find this information for you, but only found three possible connections. First, Buddy Lester's funeral was October 9, 2002 in Reseda, CA (from his obit in Oct. 9, 2002 Las Vegas Review-Journal). Second and third, there are only two mortuaries in Reseda, CA. It does not appear that either of them have a Web site.

I'm impressed by what you have contributed to FindaGrave. Did some research on Buddy Lester for IMDb and came upon your memorial here. Have a couple of thoughts for his memorial. First, there is no link to his brother's memorial. Jerry Lester is Find A Grave Memorial# 6825909.
Second, are you interested in including his birth name, parent information, spouses, and personal information, etc. If so, I'll be happy to provide what I have found and verified?

Thank you so much for adding the photos of her grave. I wrote her bio on IMDB, it looks as though it was copied and pasted here, her death was so sad! Imagine being in a coma all those years in her mother's home.

|John Belding||James J. McCabe|
I find that I'm still confused regarding the Find a Grave site. There seems to be nothing so simple as an identifiable e-mail address involved on this site. I have their FAQ but it is totally confusing to me. Anyway do I understand correctly that you have requested a search in St. Catherine's Cemetery for Jerome J. McCabe? I will be glad to undertake that but am unclear to whom I address this fact.

Thank you for maintaining the virtual memorial for Justin. He was my best friend and I'm glad he is being remembered.
|Sharon Martinez||Irina Demick|
Hi, Do you have any idea what happened to Irina Demick after her movie career was over? That over 3 decades of living. I wonder how she ended up in Indianapolis and how she felt about leaving acting behind.
