Bio Photo First I want to say a big "thank you" to everyone who leaves my twins and family tokens, I am very grateful.

My dad died in 1972 when I was 9 days old and to this day I have not been able to find his resting place which is why I do what I'm doing here as I know how hard it is to find a loved one's resting place.

I can go to cemeteries in Enfield, Edmonton, Cheshunt, Chingford, Clacton, Colchester, Feltham, Heathrow, Waltham Abbey, Walthamstow and areas around them, maybe I can go further out, all depends how far. I can help with your searching for your loved ones grave in England if your not in England. I can also help with any research you may want help with in the same areas or in the UK if you are from a different country. I have the National Burial Index, second edition and will get the third when it is available, so if you would like me to do a look up, then just ask and I will quite happily.

If there is a memorial I have done for a loved one of your family and you would like it removed/changed or transfered then please email me and I will do it for you, or if there is any mistakes or anything else wrong with a memorial I have done please let me know.

A noteworthy inscription found on a soldier’s headstone in an English country churchyard reads:

Take nothing but photographs

Kill nothing but time

Leave nothing but Footprints

All My Ancestors Are Behind Me.
"Be Still," They Say.
"Watch And Listen.
You Are The Result Of
The Love of Thousands"

"RE: The Mr Packer:

My family knew several of the soldiers -- 17 came from Jersey City NJ. I found the resting places of Conrad Propp and Deevey for another uncle who was child hood friends with my uncle Lawrence and Propp and Deevey. I have an article somewhere -- the same type of memorial as at Sherborne was erected in Jersey City. I'll send it when I have had a chance to find it. Tom Wolters"

"Thank You Mr Packer.

I especially appreciate the account of the event. That was always shrouded in some mystery in my family.I looked forward to maintaining his memorial. Tom Wolters"

Someone posted the war memorial on Joseph Alfred Thomas's page that is in the Churchyard in 2014 that is why I was asking if you would like a close up of his name as i took all the sections around the memorial

I have only seen requests for names off memorial panels from cemeteries and Churchyards

You are so welcome. I was back home on holiday in Cornwall so visited quite a few Churchyards to take war grave photos and memorials.

I must of missed Joseph Alfred Thomas.I'm back there in November so will find it,if no one has done so before then.It is in the old section ,same as Johns.

I have a close up of Josephs name on the war memorial if that helps till then

RE: photo request-G. Cowe
What I can do is ask the council for any Cowe in Crailing. Do you have first name for G Cowe? Also do you have parents names and possible death dates - that might narrow the search down. Unfortunately Cowe is a local border name!
But Crailing is a lovely little churchyard brings back loads of wonderful memories.
