Bio

I was born & raised in Douglasville, GA. My father, Charles Moore, was a native of Newton County, Miss. moving to Georgia at age 16 to near Covington, GA (Stewart Community off Hwy 36 & also Newton County). He married my mother, Annie Janette Burnette in 1952 moving to Douglasville, GA. (Bill Arp community). I came into the world on Saturday, November 13, 1954 @ 11:40 a.m., the oldest grandchild of both paternal/maternal families.

I have lived in GA, MISS, FL, TX, NC, NY (back to FL), & back to NC. I currently live in Hickory, NC and work in North & South Carolina. I am a life-long transportation industry manager and/or sales. My interests are THE CIVIL WAR, MUSIC, reading, travel and history in general. I have two children, Jason (32), and Jessie (27).

At some point, I hope to add photos & bio's to the many Civil War veterans' gravesites I've visited in my lifetime.

Regards,

Anthony B. (Brad) Moore
