Bio

I began genealogy research in 2007 in an effort to identify my paternal grandparents. In Aug 2009 during a family visit to Massachusetts my wife and I, who reside in California, visited Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket, RI looking for the markers of my paternal grandparents. Although I stood within feet of my grandmother's burial location, no markers remain.
When I began research in earnest on my wife Joy's family, Find A Grave became a very useful resource. It seemed natural to join in order to record what I've learned for future researchers/family members, and whenever possible to take over management of our families' memorials. Joy and I have since discovered an interest in cemeteries we never knew existed! We enjoy working as a team and are always willing to help with photo requests as time and opportunity allows.

UPDATE- We are now residing in Southeast Kansas. JON & JOY

FAG rules for transfers.

In the words of Captain Barbossa,.... "they're really more like guidelines...." Direct line, so many generations, ..... Family, should be with Family. We don't create memorials for ourselves unless they are Our relatives. All other memorials we create in the hope that a family member will request a transfer. We are only custodians. A relative who cares and/or has known the individual will be a better custodian than we. Ask nicely and explain why and there's a good chance we will transfer.

Edit requests.

If possible please explain/list "the source" of the information you want added to a memorial we maintain. We have to verify your info before updating the memorial so telling us how you know, why, or from where, makes it easier and faster to add your information.
The more info. you give us, the faster the updating process.

Our Family names include:
Lavoie/Dufresne, Fecteau/Bisson, Lavallee/Montmigny, Tetreault/Frappier.
Also:
McCormick/Sandwith, Schwager/Brock, Fowler/Corn, Hamilton/Kuppinger
