I love Bluebirds, and I hope that if you get a chance to see one on your listings that it will brighten your day.

Thank you for the bluebird for my little son, Jason. I miss him so much even after 38 years.

Carl, Sr.
Thanks. I did not know that he had died. Wish Carl, Jr. could have stayed around for 100 years, too.

Thinking of You

I hope all is well with you. Thank you for your sweet messages to my mother. She loved Jesus and I know she is with Him, but I am having a difficult time missing her. Take care, and God bless. :)

The Racket
Thank you, thank you! I have not read all the articles yet but the ones that I have read certainly give you an idea of the flavor of the times. I am surprised that more has not been said about a woman publisher of something other than household hints, LOL!

General Whiting
Hello again, Pipedreamer. Here I am late getting back to you. I was very happy to get your message. It pleases me that there is someone else who thinks about General Whiting and cares about him as much as I do. I intend to landscape his area this spring and I'm also going to find a little bench so when you come back you will have a place to sit and relax. It's so peaceful at Oakdale.
And yes, I did see the General's uniform when it was on display. It was very beautiful. I hope to see it again someday. I also hope that you will be here next winter for the 150th anniversary of the last battle at Fort Fisher. All the General's friends should be there to honor him and all the brave men who fought and died there.
Happy New Year, my friend.
