Please advise corrections, changes, additions to any posting. If sending me an email please note: there is an underscore between rachel & keller.|
I am more than happy to link family members and add additional information. Please only ask for transfers when your intent is to add biographies, life stories, or meaningful information or have many children to connect.
Families I am researching: Keller of York Co., Pa., Ohio, Iowa: Pearce/Pierce of Ohio, Iowa: Bartlett of W.Va and Kansas: Thompson of Ohio, Illinois and Nebraska, Darst of Ohio & Illinois, Hanson and Clendennen of Pa.
Most of the memorials posted are of cemeteries I have just visited while passing by and I am not related but don't hesitate to ask in case I do have some additional information.
It is a joy when someone sends you a message and they are doing the "happy dance". Pay it forward when you have just been given a wonderful clue regarding your family or a loved one with a photo or information on a missing relative. Take a few photo's of someplace close to where you live and post them. It may be someone's "brick wall".
FAG is an amazing site and I am grateful for all the wonderful genealogy information I have received from this site.
FAG is growing so rapidly...please be respectful of all who post photos, leave tokens, establish memorials and contribute information. This is people helping people!

|Friends of Oak Hill Cemetery of Minneapolis||Edit Requests for Oak Hill Cemetery|
Hello Rachel: While we see you have submitted a good number of grave location and middle name edit suggestions recently and we all are pleased to see Oak Hill Cemetery memorials develop. After such a volume of edits that are unsourced, we have now repeated requested that you provide some sort of sourcing verification. As you know grave location is an issue at this cemetery and we all want to be sure by source what is reported. If you are working with some of the actual cemetery records just forward the requested sourcing along with your edit suggestion--the burial permit (for name and location edits) grave and plat records for same. We all want to see sourcing accuracy and even if it takes a bit longer to collect all the data, please respond to our requests to provide this sourcing verification.

Hi Rachael - Thanks for the quick reply. Much appreciated!

Hi Rachael - I was wondering if you are related to George and Ida M. Wize and have obituaries for them? I'm related to George Wize through his mother. Hoping to hear from you. Peggy
|Grayson ||Edwin R Kingsley # 16817551|
Could you look at this one to confirm the death date? (Edwin R Kingsley # 16817551)
From the picture of headstone, it surely does look like 1851 but I've found him on the GLO land records as patenting land in 1853 in Washington Co, MNf. Could that death date be 1854 or possibly 1857 ??( I'd think it was likely 1854.)
I can't find other Kingsley names in the area. Thanks for posting his gravesite. Your efforts are appreciated. Thanks.

That was very nice of you, but not necessary. Others have helped me and I am just paying forward!
I'm happy to help when I can.
|Sherry Hess||Fred Goodwin|
Thank you for letting me know that Fred Goodwin was a unmarked grave. Thank you for your time in going to the cemetery for me.
I was informed thru J.D. Larimore from her research that she had put her info on the wrong S. Jones as father of Loyal and that mine was the right memorial and asked that I put her info over onto memorial 131258002 and that she was going to delete her information on the family from the memorial in Roseburg Memorial gardens
Rachel, your contributions are amazing. My maiden name is Keller, and am finding so much information about my family thanks to you. Thank you again!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you Rachel, my Find A Grave friend! Let me hear from you!
