RE: Martha Sue Young
Her mom and my mom were best friends from kindergarten through roommates in college. So Martha (and Kay) and I grew up as "cousins". (Check out the photo I posted of us.) We lived in the same cities in Texas for many of the same years and then we moved to Chicago shortly after they moved to MI. After Martha disappeared, my parents drove over to help her parents several times. In the meantime, I moved back to Texas. When Martha was found, her mom asked me to be with her grandparents when she called to notify them.
Martha's parents and grandparents are with her now, and yes, we will see her later! (I can already hear our moms laughing together!)

Thank you for sponsoring her memorial. Did you go to MSU with her?

Hi my friend,
Sorry I haven't kept up with my Find A Grave activities here lately. Between working and various other activities I am falling behind terribly on flowering. And I saw your flower for Jim and can't tell you how much I appreciate it Melinda. I hope you are doing well and able to get out in what I'm sure is atrocious weather conditions. We have had some very chilly days but at least don't have to deal with snow. Thank you again for thinking of Jim. I"m going to visit Walt right now.

Hi Melinda, you are very welcome. I was happy to visit Chance for his birthday. All our furry kids are waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for us. Rosie
