Bio

I am the son of Paul A. and Lowretta M. Gibson Singley. In the late 1960's I became intersected in the ancestry of the Singley's and my mothers side the Gibson's. With the help of and old friend Ambrose Singley I acquired a Singley family tree but it was not complete on my side of the Singley's who are the John Singley's. After a lot of searching old courthouse records and old news papers I was able to connect it all together. My Mothers side the Gibson's has been more of a challenge. I was lucky that my mother was born in 1904 and new her Grandmother Mary Gibson who told her all about her Grandfather William Gibson and saved all the old photos and she passed them on to me. But beyond my Great grandfather William Gibson I have not been able to find to much other then that the Bridges who lived in Lewisburg Pa. were related. I did manage to track down the grave of Jeremiah Bridge, who my mother said was related. He is buried in Swengel Pa. Trying to connect the dots and putting it all together is time consuming and a lot of work. If anybody knows anything about James Gibson born April 29, 1832, John Gibson born July 19, 1833, Jeremiah Gibson born September 20, 1834 . Please let me know by E-mailing me at [email protected] These where the brothers of William Gibson my Great Grand Father. Update 2017
I have found the graves of John Gibson his wife and children.
Update No.2, 2021
With the help of Jeremy Seeger I have connected the Gibson's with the Bridges.
Update No.3
After about fifty years I Finley found the connection between the Gibson's Bridge's and the Chappells and have found their graves.
