Hi Russ. Just wondering where the headstone in Uncle Evan's grave came about. I am so pleased to see it but a little surprised. It looks amazing!

Transfer help
Hello, I have been a member of the Find-A-Grave community for about a year. At that time I took over as caretaker of a small cemetery (Covell Cemetery Urbana Steuben County New York). I was hoping to have the management of the memorials in this cemetery transferred to me. Sadly the individual who manages the memorials stated in his bio that he doesnít do transfers. He has also turned off messaging. His name is Stuart Strout Woodside Skolfield (#46954007). My goal is to do genealogy research on everyone in this cemetery. Managing the memorials would make corrections and additions much easier to make. Is there anything Find A Grave management can do to help in obtaining the transfer of these memorials?

Thank you,
Steve Beikirch

This is my Mother. I requested that I take this one over and obviously was refused, as the one I did create is now gone.

This one had her nickname Peanut listed, and my Mother despised that nickname. Thankfully it was removed as I requested.

Although I understand that people are touchy because they have been doing this for years, but when they take over someones close relative, this becomes offensive. Ancestor/Relative Stealing - my phrase for it.

I kindly requested this be turned over to me, but was denied.

The girl who has removed mine, denied changes, etc., swoops in and takes these off the internet obits before a family member has the chance to grieve and get busy doing it themselves. This is unethical and a deliberate disrespect of ones family members.

Im sorry to have contacted you, but she has her messages disabled. Would you be so kind as to reply? CrystalMurphy4@aol.com

Also, I am sorry to have put this out for public eye, but there seems to be no way to email anyone privately.

Contacting a Contributor
Russ,
I'd like to reach out to a contributor to ask where she or he found the information they added to a memorial page. All I have is the contributor's number. Can you tell me how to reach out to him or her? Thanks
Wayne

Since you are the one who is credited with the photos of the Lower Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, the church and the sign, please post those two pics on Memorial #161713896 for William S. Faulkner and copy the grave marker from his wife, Edna Elsie Faulkner # 24927237 and post on his memorial as well. Thank you!
