Bio and Links
Bio Photo Something I forgot to add, I am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I also wanted to tell everyone , many thanks for the updates, corrections, add on articles etc, and apologize for never writing back and saying it is done..I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks again....I live in Baton Rouge La.Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. Please if you are new on here, we do welcome you, but be respectful of the rules and regulations.I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 11 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts

Caliste Cambre grave photo
Thank you Bobby for finding Caliste' grave marker.
I heard from Dwayne Montz who sent me a copy of Caliste's death document from the church.
You may have been confused, like me, with his wife, Josephine's name on the marker. I don't know why there is a F is in her name yet, the dates are correct.

Becky B., a descendent of Caliste Cambre

Prob didn't do it himself. I've sent up to 6 edits on one memorial of his. He's had our editorial help on every one.

Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate memorial. Even though mine was entered first, the other one has more information so I will delete my entry. Thanks again for letting me know.

That is encouraging then. In the meantime, I'm still struggling to sort the mess out.

Well.... until they allow him back in. I finally gave up on St B #1 for now. I can do an entire cemetery by the time it takes me to fix 100 of his screw ups.

I don't think he messed with the mausoleum at St Joseph's in Cecilia. I'm going to see if I can do it some justice.
