Yes, I have tried Lake Ville, Green Wood, Olivette, Riverton Crest, Queen Ann/Mt Pleasant, Washelli, Crown Hill, Redmond, Denny Park/GAR, Mt View, the Catholic cemeteries, Sumner, Hillcrest, Mt Tahoma, Wash Mem, and more. I talked to Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton who handled the transfer of his body to Seattle. They did a deep dive into their archives which are very limited that far back (1920) there was a notation "Mt Pleasant" who I called for a second time and they have no record of his burial there. They were the ones who suggested I try the Ft Lawton. I left a message for Larry at Ft Lewis McCord who I have not heard back from yet. They apparently handle the records for the Ft Lawton cemetery. I've even contacted Univ of WA who collect records of this nature with no luck. I'm so disappointed that I haven't found his burial location. His wife and son are buried in Mountain View in Auburn and another son and his family are buried in Mt Pleasant. I don't want to spring $80 for his pension records if I don't have to. Nils, do you have an suggestions?

Nils, Do you know if the on-line listings have everyone who was buried in the respective cemeteries listed? I know the GAR Cemetery does not have him listed and there are several graves with unknown.

Hi Nils, I'm searching for Peter J Panchot's grave. I've called darn near all the cemeteries in Seattle and no one seems to have him. Can you please check Fort Lawton's Cemetery? I've left a message for Larry at Ft McCord, not heard back yet; but, it appears you may be quite familiar with the Fort Lawton Cemetery and may know who to contact for information. Peter's date of death was 5 October 1917. Certificate of Death shows place of burial - Seattle, WA (no cemetery name listed) and date of burial - 7 October 1917. Peter was a Civil War Veteran with the 3rd Minn and was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic. Peter was also known as J.P., Jean Pierre, and P.J. Thank you kindly, Monica

Hi. Can you please send me a link to where you found the photograph. I can't find my posting and figure I did something screwy. Thanks.
