I first discovered FindAGrave when trying to research the paternal side of my family. I still have a major brick wall with that line, but get a great deal of satisfaction helping other people break through theirs. |
I especially like to document older cemeteries, and also enjoy filling photo requests.
When I'm out filling photo requests, I'll post pages for others in the same area, or a marker that has touched me in some way. If it turns out that one of them is your family member, please let me know and I'll gladly fix any errors, transfer ownership, or delete it if you prefer. My purpose is only to show respect and make sure everyone is remembered.
I'm happy to share photos with family members for personal, non-commercial use, and will gladly send full resolution versions, as long as the photo was taken recently and still resides on my computer - LOL!

|Cashie||Question --Photo attached to Clarence Leroy Gillespie|
You have a photo of the burial place of Susan Gillespie, and daughter Alice Asebes. An additional photo has the caption that Clarence is also buried there, though appears to be unmarked. Just need to know for my records, do you know that he is buried there from family information or possibly from cemetery records? Thanks much for any information. Cashie

Hi, you left a picture of a flag with a candle on my Grandfather's Find a Grave. Luther Lafayette Stewart. Are you a relative?

Thanks so much for the Ted Cissell photo, I really appreciate it.
Thank you for your token that you left on my wife memorial. I really appreciate it very much.

|braveheart65||Joseph H ("J. Howard") Earnshaw|
I noticed that you had posted a photo for a grave marker from 1911 in the Los Angeles County Cemetery. If you happen to visit that cemetery again, would you please take a look to see if there is a marker for my 3rd Great Grandfather, Joseph H Earnshaw (aka "J. Howard Earnshaw" or "J.H. Earnshaw" or even "J. H. H. Earnshaw")
Joseph died in Covina on 11 February 1902 and was buried in the Los Angeles County Cemetery sometime thereafter. I am guessing that he must be in one of the older parts of the cemetery, and perhaps his marker is not that far from the 1911 one you documented.
Thank you so much for any help you may be able to offer.

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't "do" heat so being in Florida in the summer would be miserable for me. I hope you survived.

Thank you! I should have been more thorough! :-)
|Neely's Station||Roy Broadhead 19932341|
I am researching some Broadheads and wondered why there is a photo of a headstone for Josephine Brodhead on the memorial for Roy Broadhead. Can you help me with this?
