Genealogy is a passion of mine from when I was very young. My grandmother told me wonderful stories about our families and I have been doing family history for over 30 years. I have traveled all over the world photographing family graves and writing books on my different families. I need another 25 years to finish everything I have started!

PLEASE do not add birth or death certificates to my memorials. Thank You...

RE: Ernest Moore
Thanks, Karen. It's always great when we can all work together to clean up the online cemeteries. I ask you to please let me know if you run into an errors I have made, no matter how small. Thanks!

bio name
If it is a bio that I wrote, I don't think they will do that. They refused to remove someone's name from a bio when all there was in the original bio was a list of what was in the census- even though I erased what they wrote so that what was there was a blank. You may have more success as this was some time ago.

So if they won't do it, and you have your original bio, put it above the one I wrote, and put a line under it and put your name on it and just leave what I wrote and my name there.

Second thought
I think I write the bio in order to submit him as Famous. Any Famous bio has a byline on it.

Thomas Gerrard
Two memorials for Thomas were merged. I had nothing to do with It. I did write a bio for one of the memorials and FindAgrave used that bio. You are right in that I can't do anything about what is on the memorial now.

Hi Karen,

Thank you SOO MUCH for transferring Walter's memorial to my care, and thank you SOO MUCH for researching him and telling his story on his memorial! My heart breaks and I tear up every time I look at his face and think about him and Jack Pottlitzer. Such a sad event in U.S. history. I cannot begin to imagine what it was like for Tessie as she went on with life.

I have not been able to locate where Walter's mother is buried, but I am going to keep trying. She is likely in Rosehill.

God Bless you for all that you do to remember those who have passed.

RE: Garvin/Cartwright
Dear Mrs. Karen Mickel Bennett,

Thank you for your kind words and making memorials for loved and cherished ones.

Documenting is vital as my thrice on both sides cousin Thomas Jefferson did.

A fact which may help you is;
In Amherst County, Virginia. One of my first cousins ( Frenchy) her DIL is becoming now
Deputy Clerk for Amherst County--a position Capt. William Loving had when Edmund Wilcox was Clerk and then after Edmund Wilcox died, William Loving became Clerk of the Court of Amherst Co. Va.

*NOTE* Many forget and/or do not know the County Seat of Amherst until Early 1808 is /was in what is Nelson County now at Colleen. My kins properties Harvie/Harvey is where the Survey Point and Rod start/started.

I saw on yuour family lines/kin many names I know.

Look in Virginia as well New jersey for them mamm.

Please add me as your friend. On Finda grave now too.

On the Cartwrights etc.. As you have read the miscegenation laws effected many families.

Ours in Virginia as well as marriage was not allowed to be recorded for North American Fist Nations married to Caucasians etc..

Well until the Loving Case.

Hi Karen,

Your offer to transfer Walter's memorial to my care brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for your kind offer. I would love for you to transfer him to me.

His death, his cousin's death, and all the deaths from The Iropuois Theater fire is so sad that I really do not have adequate words to express my grief.

God Bless you for your work here on findagrave remembering those who have passed.

Hi Karen,

Walter was my 3rd cousin 2 times removed, on my Felsenthal side. Are you related to the family?

Thank you,
