Bio Photo Within a few minutes of a friend telling me about Find A Grave, I found my great-great grandparents' gravestone in Hopedale Cemetery, Christian Co., MO. They were Gabriel and Talitha Reynolds McMullin. First I let out a shriek! then I sat looking at the picture, tears falling down my face. I never thought I'd see their final resting place. I've added old photos of their family to their pages. I'm still hoping to make contact with someone there. (Success!) Thank you to their visitors for honoring them with flowers and tokens, they are appreciated.

Since that day I have found other ancestors on Find A Grave. A special thank you to M. Correll and "jtf" for so many of the Wayne County, KY memorials and photos. The photos taken by Ronald Bicknese in Bills Creek Cemetery are also very special treasures. I will always be thankful for his effort to find my York 4th great-grandparents in that remote cemetery. Thanks to Robie Prater for his many photos and book HACKWORTHS AND RELATED FAMILIES in Floyd County KY.

Sincere appreciation to God's Special Angel for sponsoring our Mommaw and Poppaw Estes. They were sweet, gentle people. Thanks to all who have left flowers and tokens for them, and for other family and friends.

James Chrisman Flynn
Hello! Thank you for uploading the photos of his grave. James Chrisman Flynn and Esther Owens Flynn were my husbands great great grandfather/mother. He is trying to find out more about his family and where they came from. Does anyone have any information on James Chrisman Flynn or his parents? We have been unable to find him on census records before 1910 but found some information stating that he was born in Kentucky in 1867-69? We haven't found any information about his parents. Anything would help. Thank you.

RE: Rhoda
I do have ancestry, and get those same strained, crossed eyes all the time, lol. Take a look at Rhoda - see if I have fixed that obit correctly. Refresh my memory on Ellen - how does she fit in?

RE: Blacketer
Hi again,
Have a question. Does Rhoda's obit by chance say grandmother of George Jr and Thomas, rather than mother? I'll put whatever it says, of course, but thought if it said mother I'd put a note, saying really grandmother, or somehow clarifying the relationships, As far as I know she only had son George, and then George had a George and a Thomas. ???
Rhoda's mother in law - James King Blacketer's mother, Lucy Stewart and my 3 great grandfather George Stewart, were brother and sister. : )

RE: Airplane token
You are very welcome for little token. I can't take credit for it, I only have 2 airplane tokens in my large collection and I so seldom get to use them, makes me so happy to get to finally use one of them for such a fine person. And yes, there are some many talented people I totally take advantage of their talents. But, I love leaving tokens for people it seemed to be just the answer to my grief over losing my parents so close together. Strange how it seems to heal me leaving token for others and doing listings.

Children of Garth Singleton
I was wondering if anyone of Garth's family know much about Verna Moody Singleton, his first wife, who died in a tragic accident. I'm her niece. She passed long before I was born. Family members over the years were too grief stricken to talk about what happened. There was no contact by the Moody's with Garth.....I'm wondering if he ever told his story. Garth Singleton was badly burned in the accident. Much family lore but not all the real story. Hopefully someone might be willing to talk with me. Thanks so much. My mother and aunt, Verna's sisters, r still living but not able to tell us anything....they are in their nineties. Becky Bailey my cell number is 562-7618181. I'm in California and available to talk anytime.
