As a natural extension of my interest in genealogy, I believe that we deserve to be remembered in one way or the other. Whether the world is better or worst off because we were here, all of us will have an impact on what the world is and will become to a greater or less degree.

As a young man I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca, AZ and rented a place at the "Luck Cuss Cottages" in Tombstone, AZ for my wife and me. Our cottage was directly across the gully from "Boot Hill" that we visited on various occasions. One memorial has stuck in my mind over all these years and may be partially to blame with my desire to remember those who have gone before us. It reads, "IN MEMORY OF FRANK BOWLES BORN AUG. 5, 1828; DIED AUG. 26, 1880; AS YOU PASS BY REMEMBER AS YOU ARE SO ONCE WAS I AND AS I AM YOU SOON WILL BE REMEMBER ME"

So I hope in some small measure I am helping to remember those people that are now becoming faded or forgotten memories. My efforts may be flawed or incomplete, so I welcome any assistance you can render.
