I have always been fascinated by genealogy. From a young child sitting under a tree listening to the stories my grandfather would tell me about our people to researching the records and then combing cemeteries for headstones. |
There is a wealth of information that leads us to a more in-depth knowledge of our ancestors. I have come to know more about my people that have left their "foot prints" here than I ever knew of those that were living.
If I have a memorial and am not related to the person I, more often than not, will transfer it to you. Just ask if you are related to the person and would like the memorial please let me know.
I must go now and follow daddy rabbits foot prints, never know where he might lead me today! :)
God Bless all of you!

Just giving you a heads up that I sent you an Edit on Emory Brown (67633801) to connect his parents. On May 17, my husband & I found and created a New Cemetery in Screven County that had Emory's parents buried there.
Thanks, Jeannie Mock Irwin - # 48402560
|Jerry ||Nancy Rhodes in Murphey Cemetery|
Hi, I had the honor to locate this cemetery in a wooded & vegetation growth area of Georgia today. It was no small task to be honest. There were about 5 stones readable and Nancy was one of them. Just thought you might like to know since you manage that site. -Jerry

|Gayle Weiss||Baxter McLendon Clark|
Would you please transfer Baxter to me -- he's my father's first cousin and I can connect his to his parents, George and Georgia Clark, who are buried in Greenville, NC where Baxter grew up. Thank you very much -- Gayle Weiss
|Shirley Pond Albert||Warren Whitaker|
I have been looking for a Warren Deloss Whitaker, a brother of Charles Arthur Whitaker, who lived & died in Baxley. I am wondering if the memorial you left for a Warren Whitaker is the same one. His birthdate was 1890, born in Nebr., parents were Ben & Ella Wilson Whitaker. He had a son named Ward. . . I would appreciate ANY info that you could share. Thanks
