Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm retired and spend my time helping others find missing loved ones, who have long since passed away. I receive many kind messages from people that are thankful for the joy of finding a relatives final resting place. I'm all about quality when it comes to my memorials. Quantity doesn't mean a thing to me when adding memorials here. Hope you like the work I have done. My favorite sayings are below.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories will never fade, because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live with in our heart.

Life is short, be selfish with your time. From the womb to the tomb, we are all related. Love remains, long after the door closes.

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.

Harlan H. Staats
The obituary you have posted for Harlan Herbert Staats Jr. is for his father Harlan, who died in 1944. The senior Harlan is buried somewhere in Ripley, WV.

Thornton Ferrell
Thank you for the great service you perform by putting these pictures on findagrave.

Can you tell me what your source is for the parents of Thornton Ferrell? I've been looking for 20 years and can find no credible source. I know it's all over the internet that his parents are Rbt Ferrell and Rachel Griggs. From statements in his pension file, I believe this is not likely. More likely his mother was named Hannah based on an older woman with him in one of the censuses.

RE: David Riggs & Kesiah Slider
Thank you so much for your quick response. I had reached so many dead ends with my own research and thought maybe I was overlooking something. I appreciate your input.

David Riggs & Kesiah Slider
I was wondering about the death of David Riggs. All indications lead to his death in 1859--your site as well as the 1860 census in which he is missing. But according to the 1870 census, two children, Phebe (age 9) and Joseph Rigs (age 5) are in the household of Kesiah. And the death index of Phebe lists "Riggs" as the father. I'm not naive enough to suppose where these kids came from but wonder is there any verification of David's death in 1859?

Jacob D. Slider (2/8/1803 - 6/10/1861)
Jacob Slider and Nancy H. Deems had 9 children, born from 1829 - 1852. Information available upon request at lvslider46@gmail.com. I have a question about the second marriage you show to Ann Webbert, if you would be kind enough to contact me at the email address above, I would appreciate it. I think the Jacob Slider, married to Ann, spelled his last name Slyder.

RE: Chenoweth Graves
Rosa,
Thank you so much for the website--what a treasure. I have one of Andrew's daughters marrying a Wm Chenoweth in Indiana. I will have to investigate more to see if or how he might be related to this Chenoweth family. Thanks again for your interest.

Chenoweth Graves
Thank you so much for your photos. Edith's brother, Andrew Skidmore is where my line comes from. By any chance do you still have the original photo on your camera? I would love to have it if you do so I can see it in full size. Thank you again for taking this photo.
