Hi, I live in the High Desert, in California. I love scrapbooking and taking pictures. Now my passion is GENEALOGY, it all goes together.. and if i can help anyone out,(In my area) I would love to do so.|

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

I am a volunteer like you. The owner of this cemetery promises to call the police on any Find A Grave volunteer.
You can always request again, but I promise you that the photo(s) you seek can be easily and quickly and reliably procured another way.
There has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. They completed exhaustive photographing of headstones at San Luis Cemetery in the past 5 years, and they will share them with you.
You can email a request for a photo of the headstone(s) you are looking for, by doing the following, and they will respond promptly:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know.
Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person.
They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research.
They will email you within a day or two with an attached photo(s), if it exists.
I will ask that your request be removed (so others arenít discouraged), now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.

YOUR VERY WELCOME

You are welcome. Glad I could help.
|Janice (O'Bryan) Byington||Caleb Letton Hall # 29033368|
Caleb Letton Hall # 29033368 has a headstone photo you added to his memorial that really belongs to his grandson, Caleb Hall # 22644479. The photo has been added correctly to the grandson, but needs to be removed from Caleb Letton Hall # 29033368. Find A Grave only allows the person who added the photo to remove the photo. This was an easy mistake to make for anyone and we really appreciate your removing this headstone photo from Caleb Letton Hall # 29033368. Thank you.

You are welcome, Patty. I don't know if you noticed, but there were other Armel's nearby that I also photographed. Have a good day

You are very welcome. Was yours the request for the Higgins? If so, I also took a picture of Shirley Mae, who was buried next to them. She died in infancy. The name and location suggests she was their child.
