September 12, 2013, my best friend and reason for living had passed away, my Mother Vivian McLaughlin- McCarthy passed away so very suddenly and un-expectantly in my arms at home.

It was beyond a shock for me. But if I have anything to be grateful for to God is that I did not see her suffer or cringe in pain. I truly believe Angels came to take her. My mother was there to help bring me in this world and I was there for her to leave.

Like I tell my friends and coworkers, the only thing holding me up, is the fact that she passed so peacefully and we were together. I'm being the selfish spoiled brat of missing my mommy and I find myself walking around the house talking and hoping she could hear me.

Since her passing the weather has been beyond gorgeous and perfect for the first 3 weeks since she passed, perfect fall weather which was her favorite season. I love & miss my Mom and know she is finally reunited with her son, my brother John and with all her loved ones.

It was back in February 2004, I had lost my older brother only 39 years old John McCarthy,Jr (9/25/64 - 2/24/04) which was a major shock to our small family. You are always prepared to loose an elder but never think when someone dies young before their time, how much pain you feel and how hard it hurts.

I have always had a facination with visiting graves and leaving flowers for abandon ones ever since I lost my grandfather when I was 5.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank everyone who are so kind enough to leave flowers & messages for my Mother & Brother - It helps us tremendously. Thank you & God Bless***
