We have made duplicate Find-a-Grave people. By the numbers I would think yours came before mine. If you want to take a look at mine and add it to yours that is fine with me, just let me know when you are done and I will delete mine.
Ebenezer #77722274 yours #87524917 mine.
Mary Baxter Spear #77722305 yours, #87524760 mine.
Thanks, Elaine Root

I just wanted to leave you a note that I am keeping an eye out for Ellen. It's such a huge graveyard with 21,000 burials. When I was there yesterday, it surprised me that they were looking for a burial plot record in several binders instead of on the computer. Time for an update, I think.

RE: John Doane
Thanks so much for the reply! I will go ahead and create a memorial for little baby John Doane in the Minick Cemetery. I didn't want to create a duplicate for him, but like you said, the stone for him in Massachusetts is most likely a cenotaph. It looks like to get a memorial marked as a cenotaph an email has to be sent to

I have lived in Troy now for almost eight years now. I really love it here! Thanks again for all your help!

John Doane
I thought this was so neat! We came across a very old slate gravestone for a baby in a cemetery today, in a cemetery in NY. It looks like you have him listed in MA. It is memorial #42547937. I added the photos to your memorial with a little description about the stone. The stone just seems like it doesn't belong in the cemetery it is in. Its all Minick family members. Maybe the Doane's were visiting them when the child died. It was really interesting though.

RE: George Lockwood
I've added the photo. I'm guessing that the 4 was simply not incised as completely/deeply as the other numbers. Now that you've pointed it out, it does look faintly like a 4. The only dfference now would be 4 days difference, from Nov. 24 to Nov. 28. thanks! Bill

RE: Harold & Paul Joseph Firth
LOL! I'm not done looking for Firths. I'll be going back in a couple of weeks to look some more. There are a lot of requests for this cemetery and we've knocked out about 1/2 of them. The caretaker is extremely helpful, so now that we've narrowed our searches down, we can go back to him with specific questions between the 2 cemeteries. I love a challenge! Have a great day, enjoy the rain.
