I am a long-time collector of vintage sports autographs, letters, and autographed sports graphic cartoons. My interest in sports autographs covers the golden era from the 1920s thru 1950s. Having corresponded with many old athletes, I have a natural interest in their lives--and deaths. Professionally I am a librarian in an historical archives in Salt Lake City and a historian.|

Thanks for sharing these pages with me. You have done a truly outstanding job documenting football history. These Men will never be forgotten.

Really enjoyed looking through this Mel. I added some of your pages to my Gridiron Cemetery. I have over 800 pages now.

Is Ogden their last known address or where they actually died?

You are very welcome. If you find your answer about their deaths, I would be interested as well. The more I do with this activity, the more interesting it becomes.

I am getting ready to upload the pictures for your request and wanted to let you know when I was out at the cemetery there was another Bashore buried right next to the two requested. I took this picture as well since they are probably related the name is W Raymond Bashore. If you have any questions just let me know. Nikky

Thanks Mel. I'll try to send the Find A Grave folks a message but as you probably know, they often don't respond.
My brother met John Peacock on several occasions but I only recently learned of his baseball history. Thanks for adding him to Find A Grave.
|Alan Steinfeld||John Gaston Peacock|
John Peacock is the uncle of my brother's wife. I would like to connect him to his father, Frank Peacock, Find A Grave Memorial# 87686390. Can you do that? I note that Find A Grave is now managing the memorial but there does not seem to be any way to contact them to get this attachment made.
