If you see an error in information given, please contact me and I will make the corrections. I am human and I make mistakes so please let me know when a correction needs to be made to one of my listings. |
Also, please notify me of any duplicates so I can remove them. If you have a loved one that I have added, please notify me and I will be happy to transfer their online memorial to you.
REQUESTING EDITS, TRANSFERS, ETC.
Please do not leave requests on my contributor page for Additions, Edits, Transfers, etc. Please follow findagrave procedure and go to the MEMORIAL of the person you want changes to and click on: EDIT, then click on SUGGEST A CORRECTION and make your changes/requests that way. This provides me with a link to the memorial, a link to the person making the requests, all the things needed to make the changes quickly & easily.
Also, if you send requests to add obituary notices that have been copied, I will decline them because it is against FAG policy to do so, here is the excerpt from the Frequently Asked Questions:
"Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
Do not copy obituary notices from newspapers (or from funeral home notices or web sites) to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed"

|truchasnm||Donald Waldrop #100643598|
The following was transcribed from Donald's obituary published in New Mexico.
Donald Edward Waldrop; born in Breckenridge, Texas and a resident of Albuquerque; passed away of pancreatic cancer. He was predeceased by his wife Pamela Diane Waldrop (D: 1993).
Donald was survived by his siblings: Julia Alexander and Walter Waldrop; stepson Derek Phillips; and grandson Derek Wayne Phillips; and extended family members and friends.
Donald spent his childhood in Breckenridge. After service in the U.S. Navy, he lived most of his life in the Dallas area. His career took him, at various times, to Oklahoma, California, Washington, Michigan, and most recently New Mexico. He was a devout Christian, affiliated with Asbury United Church in Albuquerque. He will be fondly remembered for his service to Central United Methodist Church of Waco, First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, and for his activities in the Dallas and Central Texas Emmaus Communities. He will be remembered for his generosity, integrity, and devotion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial Services were on 10 Aug 2002 at Central United Methodist Church in Waco. Graveside services were at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.

|P.O.W. Dad||Bob Lee Sickles Memorial|
You made the memorial and posted the photo for Bob Lee Sickles in Restland Memorial Park. His wife Iva G. Sickles died in 1991, and I was wondering if she could have been buried with him. Do you have access to Restland cemetery records?
|Erin Madden||William Sullivan and the Old Cathedral Cemetery|
I am a descendant of William Sullivan, and I wanted to know if you could point me in the direction of finding more about his burial. There was a statement under his record on this site that some of the burials at the Old Cathedral had been moved, but there is no existing record of where William was finally placed.
Any and all information about the Sullivans you may be able to point me towards would be just incredible. I would especially like to know why they left St. Louis City and went to the Richwoods area. My grandmother, Ann Sullivan, would tell me all sorts of stories about her growing up in Richwoods and remembering her grandfather, Stephen William Sullivan, recite his nightly prayers in French. Although my grandmother's stories include people of William's era and before that time, I have yet to find conclusive documentation of any family records/dates/burials prior to William. It is very possible that I am looking in the wrong direction.
I apologize for the lengthy message! If you are related to the above people, please also let me know - I may have information, pictures, stories, etc., to build your genealogy file, and I am more than happy to share this information!
