I am part of a project to research the history, "residents" and eventually to record all inscriptions in Gravesend Cemetery, Kent. I am happy to take photo requests for this cemetery as I am a frequent visitor there. I am always interested to hear from anyone with any information about interesting people buried there, (they certainly don't have to be "famous"!)

I am always willing to transfer ownership of my memorials to relatives.

I have been researching William as part of a family tree. Whilst the image uploaded was good I cannot enlarge it to a point that I can read the transcription. Would you have another picture of the grave that would allow me to read the transcription.

You photographed the above mentioned marker and created two lovely memorials for the Arnolds. I found a early 20th century transcription of the marker that listed a dozen+ people also buried in the same grave. I have created the additional memorials and wondered if you would like to post your photo on the additional names. I created photo requests so that you could get some volunteer credits. If you click on the "Photo Requests" on the main page for the church it will give you the entire 14 names and a link to post each photo. Thank you so much! -Rebecca

Severus Alexander

I liked your biography of the emperor Severus Alexander but perhaps you can correct the year of his assassination to 235.

Boxers of Folkestone?
Would it be at all possible to find out if James and Sarah Hannah (Wilson) Boxer are buried at St Mary and St Eanswythe Churchyard? Their son, John Saxby Boxer (1851-1927) is buried at Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, Maryland, USA. I would love to link him to his parents.

Thank you~
