I am part of a project to research the history, "residents" and eventually to record all inscriptions in Gravesend Cemetery, Kent. I am happy to take photo requests for this cemetery as I am a frequent visitor there. I am always interested to hear from anyone with any information about interesting people buried there, (they certainly don't have to be "famous"!)

I am always willing to transfer ownership of my memorials to relatives.

Hello
I contribute to a non-commercial website http://www.ww1-yorkshires.org.uk/ which is dedicated to remembering something of the men who died in WW1 whilst serving with the Yorkshire Regiment. You have published a photo of Pte J Thompson’s headstone at Queen’s Road Cemetery Croydon. I am writing to ask whether you will allow us to reuse the image on the Yorkshires site. Obviously you will be credited as the owner of the photo.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Dudley

Hi js,
You have a photo up for the above person in St Marys Warwickshire.
I was wondering if you have a closer shot of the words on the memorial as I cant read it.

Many thanks

Master of Brighton West Pier.
Burial:
Woodvale Cemetery and Crematorium

I have been researching William as part of a family tree. Whilst the image uploaded was good I cannot enlarge it to a point that I can read the transcription. Would you have another picture of the grave that would allow me to read the transcription.

Regards,

Wayne.

You photographed the above mentioned marker and created two lovely memorials for the Arnolds. I found a early 20th century transcription of the marker that listed a dozen+ people also buried in the same grave. I have created the additional memorials and wondered if you would like to post your photo on the additional names. I created photo requests so that you could get some volunteer credits. If you click on the "Photo Requests" on the main page for the church it will give you the entire 14 names and a link to post each photo. Thank you so much! -Rebecca
