Bio

I began my interest in genealogy in 2008 when three genealogists entrusted their many hours of research on the Dove family tree to me. Adding the names of my ancestors and my relatives to Find A Grave is my personal way of honoring their lives and securing each family member their rightful place in the annals of history until their graves are finally opened by the Almighty God who gave them life. Surely on that blessed day, the "Doves" shall again stand together as one family before our God and His Son, Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh and redeemed us, so that we should not taste death no more! To Him, be the Praise and Glory, Forever!

My Dove family immigrated to America in the early 1700s from Ireland. You will find my family well documented on ancestry.com. There are now hundreds of descendants of Thomas Dove who have taken the ancestry DNA test. If you are a descendant of Thomas Dove, we invite you to take the ancestry DNA test and join us in our on-going efforts to learn more about our Dove Family.

All of the memorials I have added to Find A Grave are somehow related to my family. If you happen to be related to me, I would love to hear from you.

Photos: I have no problem with others using my Find A Grave photos as long as they cite their source. Please put the following source citation in the photo description. "Photo originally posted to Find A Grave website by Find A Grave contributor, J_Dove222. Photo used by permission." You should also be aware that I am an ancestry.com member and many of my Find A Grave photos have already been uploaded to my ancestry tree, "A Dove's Long Flight Home."

Thanks,
John
