If you are asking for a transfer of a memorial, use the "edit" feature to make the request. Click on the edit tab on the top right side of the memorial. Then "suggest a correction" Type your transfer request in the message box and be sure to include your own member number in the note. I'm glad to make the transfer, and you'll get it much more quickly if you use the Transfer Memorial option.
I like to walk cemeteries and take photos of old headstones. It's something I do for me -- it's great exercise, it's peaceful, and it's a great excuse to take photos.
If you see any mistakes or errors in my postings, please let me know and I'll make corrections. I take photos with a great deal of respect for those who have walked before us. If a family member objects to having a gravesite photo posted on Find A Grave, please let me know and I will remove it. Permission is granted to use any of my photographs for non-commercial, private use by family members. All others, please ask first.
Whenever possible, I try to add value to my findagrave listing by including a headstone photo, obituary, or other information. I have a special affinity for obituaries, and have developed a web page to help people find obits in Southern California. The URL is listed below.
Thanks to Frank Russo's great website www.Thedeadballera.com for information on the professional baseball player gravesites.
