"It is not about me, but those who have been a part of my life - they made me who I am today" Paula M Brown

My given name is Paulina Margarita Lukosius and my married name is Paula M Brown. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and came to the U.S. when I was 8 months old and my family settled in Chicago, IL. In about 1985, I started putting together charts and biographies of maternal and paternal families so that my children, grandchildren and beyond can benefit from the work that has been done.

What started with my family, as well as my husband's family has turned into helping others to preserve their history and documents. This is definitely an addicting hobby that has a labor of love value attached to it. This has been such a wonderful hobby for me, not to mention the wonderful people that I have met and become friends with.

I have learned so much through the dead that I have really come to enjoy History, a subject I was never really found of when I was a child. I love visiting cemeteries and even more so helping other preserve their family history.
