Stacy, You are very welcome. I'm glad I could help. I will be happy to turn management of your grandfather's page over to you, just let me know. If he was a veteran, please let me know, so I can add him to my virtual veterans' cemetery for Rockingham County. I am the only one who can add him to that cemetery.
I am very sorry for your loss. He sounds like a remarkable person.

I'm afraid I don't know where in the cemetery he is buried. I've never actually been to that cemetery, and must have gotten the info for him from his death certificate.
I'm really sorry.

Hi Stacy, I read your note to Larry Eanes about your gr-grandfather. I found of interest that he built the rock walls on Washington St. in Eden. As a member of Eden Preservation Society, I would greatly appreciate any additional information you have on him. Yppu can contact me either by public message or my email address posted on Findagrave.
Thank you and have a great day. David

On my Find A Grave page, I maintain a large virtual cemetery for a variety of social and environmental activists. I assembled it towards the end of last year because I was saddened to see how few flowers and fan notes a lot of those activists have gotten over the years. Please feel free to visit my cemetery any time. Its
"interments" include environmentalists, abolitionists, feminists, unionists, Nazi fighters, black and gay civil rights activists, health care reformers, and advocates for the poor. A number of them were socialist sympathizers.
Thank you once again for your thoughtfulness!
