John Henry Hight
I know you said John Hight was your GGG Granddaddy, but who are the generations between you and him? I looked and saw the Stratton's and they are very much related to me as is the Harvey's, Withers, Massie, Bolling,Mays and many others.

I have many Uncles and don't know who you refer to Kehoe as his friend. As I told you previously, I cannot make a family connection with Al Chop, but I spoke with him once on the phone years ago and he said he remembered his cousin Tony from when they were boys together in Milwaukee County. Tony was my father.

I really don't have time for geneology these days. Have had cancer since 2011 and am now trying to survive the chemotherapy.

The Nichols family is not my family. I will be happy to transfer them to you. Maybe you could get them linked into family groups. Let me know if it is ok to transfer them.

Your picture is hard to distinguish on my phone, but looks like it could be a UFO. If it is, you might be interested in Googling Al Chop and UFO's on YouTube. He was my Dad's cousin and the voice on some of NASA's Controls, so he told me. I have never been able to establish the connection, however. My Dad was Anthony V. Tony Chop.

Sorry I can't remember how to add a friend here. BTW, I have never been a Mrs.

Grace Chetwode Ancestry
Hi Jonathon,

If you have this link takes you to page 336 of "The Royal Descents of 600 Immigrants" with Grace Chetwode's descent from Edward I, King of England:

The link doesn't always work for me. Please let me know if you have trouble.

Sir Richard Chetwode
Hi Jonathon,

I am descended from Sir Richard Chetwode through his daughter, Grace. I did the research other ways for finding the birth date I sent in the SAC. I looked at the site I sent you and didn't like it for Chetwode's but a PhD researcher sent it to me and suggested it for clues. I am sorry that it didn't work out better for you. There are so many resources out there from Scholars and they even disagree with each other. Almost everything is just a clue to me. I try to verify things by two different sources before I use it, and hope both of those are correct. Just now I had trouble when I searched Richard Chetwode on Find A Grave and had to just do chetwo and use the filter do partial last name search on surname. The search didn't bring it up with Chetwode. I use this filter a lot on my searches especially on Chetwood/Chetwode. I think the ,MP confuses it searching. His son is CHETWOOD in Find A Grave. On Family Search I found Sir Richard Chetwode b. 1535 (and it agreed with other websites I found) and it said his death place is "St. Dunston's London, Middlesex, Eng".

In the 1990s I used to go to the LDS Salt Lake Library and supply corrections (on my ancestors) to the Ancestral File which became FamilySearch. One had to reference the proof for the correction. I have other strengths, but I am not that great at finding the burial places...but I am working on that as I learn from other people.

Sir Richard Chetwode

Thank you for your response. I spent hours searching to see if I could find a birth date for Richard father of Sir Richard born 1560. I sent a SAC for you. I couldn't find his father Roger Chetwode in I couldn't find much about him on the internet. Thank you for the invitation to become your friend. I did this, and please also add me to your friends. I would love to collaborate on this research.

RE: Thanks for remembering our past
I don't care about famous ratings. I have been contributing to this site for almost nine years, so if you do the math, the bios accumulate. Please don't assume that is the reason I contribute bios. There are only a handful of regular contributors who consistently submit bios and they are approved because they actually take the time and write them the way the site wants. Not a plagiarized obituary like most submit. Again, the site is grateful for any info, data you provided and it is always appreciated. I do not create the rules on this site, so if you have an issue with credit for providing burial info, then that's an administrative matter. Your hostility should not be warranted for me.
