This set a example and Grave Law in all America!

His first bill he submitted, sponsored, and was passed was the Virginia Cemetery Bill, which forbade any destruction and/or plowing them under of them!

He alone saved the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) from being becoming extinct when he was Chairman of Virginian Wildlife. Yes this is the Bird which the Country TURKEY attained that name. Tom, hen , and poults all.
Benjamin Franklin wanted this as our national Bird.

DeMallie @ Cortland Rural
Hi, Was going thru the emails you sent me re Lena & Raymond De Mallie. They are listed in Cortland Rural Cemetery's registers. I see you have them at Mount Hope cemetery in Rochester too.

I am not related. Cortland Rural Cemetery is a "labor of love" for me. I am working on recording the cemetery with photos and correcting records as I go...and in doing so, helping people find their families/ancestors.

Lieut Charles Kenney Harvey Memorial 120651045
Thanks for the info, your Harvey ancestors predate the Dutch settlement of NY & NJ maybe they were from New England or Virginia. Lieut Harvey's Memorial is not suppose to be listed in George Washington Cemetery, because he is not actually buried there. The Memorial records his remains correctly as lost at sea and under the notes section i have included the details of the cenotaph. If you wanted to create a second memorial for the cenotaph, listed under George Washington Memorial Park you may catch a bit of flak from findagrave, but it's fine with me.

Barbara St Clair
Hi AAA,

If you no longer have a copy of the photo you need to open it on Barbara's memorial, if you're on a PC, right click within the image and choose the Save option, save it somewhere where you can easily find it (by default it will give it a string of digits as a name). Once you've saved it you can go to his memorial and add it to his memorial, then delete it from her memorial.

If you are having trouble saving the image I can email it to you directly, just send me your email address, my address is genealogy2013@mills-sfv.com

I would have to say NC as Bryant is my married name. My husband was born and raised in the Stoneville, NC area. If you are researching the Bryants in that area, I can give you a few names associated with his family.

Prefix edits
I never like it when my edits are rejected without knowing why. . . while I include suffix additions (Sr., Jr., I, II, III, etc.) which can add genealogical clarity, on the memorials I manage, I don't include prefixes (Col., Mr., Mrs.) which reference data and life choices (spouses, profession, military rank) best represented elsewhere as is the case with your edit requests.

Regards, Philip in NYC
