Snydal & Sturlaugson Family History
I have been searching through the Snydal and Sturlaugson family history lines. I was hoping there would be a way to get in touch with you. I hope to get some more information regarding any family history trees you might have, as to fill in the blanks on my side. Thank you!

John Gill

I'm looking for descendants of John Gill who would have appeared on the 1840 census in Floyd County Virginia.
Does that description mean anything to you?

RE: Gill Family
Hi Denise,
Wonderful to hear from you! I think you'll be interested in the things I have, and I'm willing to share any information I have with you. I inherited a large bin of paperwork from my uncle that belonged to my grandparents. Unfortunately things had been rifled through before I received them, so I am trying to make sense of everything. There are also a number of old photos, some marked, some not. I found a tintype of our ancestor Daniel Webster Jacobs, but had no idea it was him until I saw your information here. So thank you for that! :) I am going to join too, as it seems that many online links lead back to that website. As I said, I'm new to this site...not sure if this message is private, or will be displayed publicly. I'd love to exchange email addresses with you so we can talk further.

Gill Family
Hello Denise,
My grandmother was Beulah Irene Gill, the daughter of Bertha & Christopher Gill from Bement, IL. In searching family records I see you are the contributor for most of the Gill family pages on this site. I have many old photos, letters and even a leather bound history of the Gill family in my possession. I'm new to this site-just figuring out how things work. I'm hoping we can share information. Thanks so much!

Also ....
I was wondering if you know the source of her obituary that's on her page. I'd like to use it for my family history also but I don't normally use information if I don't have the source.

Ida Luella Teal died in 1918
I have the proof that the 3 kids you have for her ARE hers. Here's the link to her son's obituary.

Joyce B. Maze
WE are doing an Ericson alumni book and can you help us with Joyce? She graduated in 1942-43. Was she married to Maze or Charron? Her children were Charron's but her name is Joyce Brydean Gilroy Maze. Her parents were John and Ruth Gilroy. Can you help?

Thank you

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 39006022
I scanned it with my portable scanner, it's a great something everyone doing research needs. It saves on carrying a lot of coins. It has a 7 x 4 inch screen, scan photos, if you scan something bigger than the screen, you just scan all parts of it and it has a program that puts it all together, it runs off of batteries and saves to a card, then I pull the card and load into my computer. I have had mine about 4 years and love it. If you want to check them out just google "Flip Pal Scanner".
