Bio and Links
Bio Photo Our goal is not to collect memorials except for our families. We want to leave a family legacy for others and show our deep respect for all who have passed on.
We hope to leave a way to connect family members and honor those that are gone.
We thank those who provided pictures to us and for transferring family members and for placing flowers on our family stones. We get real pleasure of finding stones and adding them to memorials.
Our pictures are your pictures!!! Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. we take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for our ego or for the numbers. we volunteer to Find A Grave so others can find information about their ancestors.

The photgraph
The calotype or ambrotype seems to have been invented in the 1840s so I would like to know if this can really be an authentic image of Eleanor Whitney?

I note that you left "flowers" in memory of Amelia, your 4th great grandmother. She is also my 4th great grandmother" so we must be related at some point along the way. I'd like to communicate further to determine the linkage and to possibly shave information.

RE: Adolphus Malone
Adolphus "Doc" Malone was my husbands gg-grandfather, through his daughter Sophia "Sophie" Malone Hoff. We have very little in family information, such as stories, and photos.

If you have an Anceswtry.com account, would you be able to share your information with us?

My husband, Alvin O'Neil "Al" Ritter, grew up knowing g-grandma Sophie and g-grandpa Richard Fields "Dick" Hoff, he still misses them, and always speak of them with love and respect. Dick and Sophie are buried next to each other at the Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK.
