Speaking of photos I've seen some really poor ones. I don't follow their idea for a photo size as it's to small to look at, if you want to blow it up to see something. I use a Panasonic Lumix pocket "CAMERA". I crop and adjust them for brightness and contrast using Elements and my final size is approx. 1761x1000 at about 350kb file size. I carry a small brush and shovel an remove anything growing near it. If in doubt I go with an without flash an pick the best to start with. It's a one shot deal folks give them the best you can an be proud of it. Check out, Granny, #97607760.

Another thing I do at the grave site is record the GPS coordinates. I use a Garmin etrex 10. I use, boulter.com/gps/ to convert the numbers for F-A-G format. I put the Plot information and coordinates in the notes. Then the grave can be viewed from the satellites.

I also don't have a lot of memorials an that's because I'll give them away as fast as I can. I DO NOT believe in their relationship recommendation. If their your family, friends, neighbors or shipmates it's yours as long as you treat them respectfully and it's not my family. I'm surprised that there not handing out bronze, silver and gold headstones annually for the biggest (head)stone hunters.
