Someone was kind enough to add my daughter's grave on here before I even knew about this site.
Meaghan Olivia
A HUGE THANK YOU to those of you who stop by Meaghan's memorial and leave a token; from a momma who misses her more than words could ever express, it gets me teary eyed that you would take the time to do so. Blessings to you~

Just trying to pay it forward...

** I do a complete search in a cemetery before adding a record so I do not create duplicates. If you come across one of mine that is a duplicate that means a) two cemeteries have been merged or b) the original one was not there to begin with and has been moved to the correct cemetery. In either case you need to contact findagrave to have the 2 memorials merged.

*******My laptop which has all my cemetery photos has crashed. Until I am able to get it to my techie son to recover all the photos, I am working from the Franklin County Cemetery Records Book (Tennessee). I realize the book has errors in Spelling and dates. I am trying my best to find missing death dates for those that are missing in the book. I started with the small ones but am jumping over to the large cemeteries--just finished everyone from Eastern Star in Sewanee (400 new names on there now) and Memorial Park (500 new names in that one) Please be kind when sending corrections. thanks!******

98% of the memorials I add come from pictures of the headstones taken at the cemeteries. It's the only way to get everyone without someone being missed and just about every cemetery I have been to there have been memorials that were overlooked (even in the small ones.) Some are very difficult to read so I put on as much info as I can make out in hopes that someone will come along with the missing pieces or corrections for what I entered. This site is made up of volunteers GIVING UP THEIR TIME to do this so there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO BE RUDE when contacting with corrections. As per findagrave we have THIRTY days to make a correction (some of us do work outside of entering memorials. DO NOT send a second correction if it has only been a couple days. To send 3 in a week when you have a message on your own profile saying please be patient is comical.

PER FaG
.."We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1931-present) to Find A Grave." Yes, I do add all markers if they are before the 1931 birth date and have no death date as more often than not they have passed away and the marker has not been updated. There are loved ones out there that may have been searching for that person which is the whole reason I do this.

Thank you to all of those who give of their time to add to this site!!
