2015 season is about over here in Ohio. Soon everything we be white. This is the time of year that I get more done on the computer with genealogy. Still transfering all my data into one tree. Hope to finish that this winter. Hope everyone is well and makes it thru the winter with lots of clues to follow next spring.|

Oops! Louisa married Alexander in 1842, not 1843 and the divorce was filed Aug. 19, not the 18th. My apologies for the typos.
Thank you again,
Sylvia - who must get more coffee now....

I'm pretty certain that this memorial actually belongs to Louisa M. Steinbarger Pence. Eliza may be a nickname?
Louisa/Eliza was born April 23, 1825 in Urbana Township to David Steinbarger (39861247) and Elizabeth Lydia Pence (39861316). She died Jan. 16, 1907.
She was married to Alexander Pence (159514521), my 2nd great-grandfather, Mar. 3, 1843 to 1863. Louisa filed for divorce Aug. 18, 1863 - he had started another family with Sarah Ann Sifers (11585227) before divorcing Louisa and marrying Sarah (my 2nd great-grandmother). Yeah...what can I say...if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here....
I have posted 2 obits that might help if you need additional information: http://sylviaheisler.com/ancestors/louisa.htm
The above numbers in parenthesis are the Find A Grave Memorial numbers.
Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

Hello. I noticed you've created several memorials for people buried in the Adkins Cemetery, Campbell County, TN. My husband's ancestors are members of this Adkins family, and we've been trying unsuccessfully to find the Adkins Cemetery. Can you tell me any information on how to find this cemetery?

Helen, I'm embarrassed to say that I've lost the correction you'd like me to make. My computer has been done. Could you send it to me again? I'll do it immediately. I love Find A Grave and want to keep it accurate! I'm sorry for the mixup on my part. Geri

I am updating Mr. Fleming's memorial as you requested. If you are related to him and would like transfer of his memorial to you, I am more than happy to do so. I think I may have a photo of his headstone as well--I can check. Please let me know if you wish his transfer. I was glad to see the addition of his obituary to his memorial. Thanks you. Jacob Franklin Evans is my 2nd great grandfather. I found your name on his memorial. Research by my uncle, who is now deceased, has his father as John B Evans and his mother as Catharine Hoover. The death certificate photo loaded on the memorial site is consistent with regards to his father. However, in my research I have come across two Jacob Fs of very similar age and from VA. One with parents John B and Catharine was probably born in Rockingham Co VA while Daniel D and Mary are the parents of the one in Shenandoah Co VA. Do you have a source for the birthplace mentioned on the memorial site that you could direct me to?

Hi--I went to Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg looking for Henry Hoke's )Find A Grave Memorial# 26194454) tombstone and never found it. Did I provide you with this picture taken by my deceased father?
|Linda Dukes||RE: Mary E|
Thank you. I have contacted the person that provided the tombstone photo, and asked them to move the photo to my memorial, as soon as you see that it is gone you can delete your memorial. Thank you so much! Linda
