Growing up I could listen for hours to my Grandfather Johnnie's stories from the "old days". He was a master storyteller and could make them come to life. So...at about age 13 I began to record stories and events about people in our family from long ago...not realizing then it was called "Genealogy". I love old photographs, and love to study them....trying to understand the stories and clues they can give. Of course exploring cemeteries naturally comes with the recording of family histories.
