Bio and Links
Bio Photo We live in a small town in Iowa and members of the Pioneer Cemetery Commission for our county. We have been interested in genealogy for several years and spend a lot of time in Graveyards and Cemeteries taking pictures, taking notes, just piecing the families together.
Some of these Cemeteries are so old that there are not any other records of the people resting there. When these cemeteries go...so does that person's existence!
We would like to thank all of you for your contributions to the preservation of these cemeteries.
The peace and serenity found in these old cemeteries is our reward!
If there is a memorial we have added, that is not in our family, we will consider a transfer of the memorial to you.
Please use the Edit tab,(upper right hand corner of the memorial) Please do this on every memorial that you want transferred or a correction on and please include your ID number.
Thank You, Mo & Dave

James Thomas Chandler
Hi,

Thanks for all you do! I did an edit on James Thomas Chandler -66228660. He was not the son of Addison and Mary Chandler. There were actually two James Chandler's during this same time frame. Addison and Mary had a son James Veyne Chandler - 69100169 who died in Nebraska.

I have newspaper clippings where Addison actually died at James Veyne's home in Nebraska. If you'd like them.

I just wanted to explain my editing of James Thomas's file. I'm sorry I've done no research for James Thomas Chandler - I'm not sure if he is related to my family or not.

Thanks.

Thanks so much for taking a photo of his gravestone.

His daughter is a friend of mine, and I think she will appreciate knowing others think of her father.

Happy New Year

RE: Alfred Limbocker
Mo:

Thank you so very much for your prompt reply. I just this evening found the entry for G.M. Limbocker and like you feel that this is probably George W. Perhaps someone will one day see this string of messages and provide further info. I just hate the idea of a family member who would cherish seeing this image and not knowing that it exists. Melanie

Alfred Limbocker
Dear Mo and Dave:

You have posted a photo of the graves of are Alfred Limbocker, his wife and daughter. We are interested in any additional information you might be able to provide about Mr. Limbocker (we have his obit, but nothing else). We are collectors of victorian images. We recently came into possession of an ambrotype of Alfred's son, Lt. George Limbocker, in his Civil War uniform. The records we find for George indicate he resigned his commission in 1863 and died in March 1865. Would love to be able to locate his grave and any additional information you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. You can email us at mkkuntz@hotmail.com. Thank you, Melanie Kuntz and Jeff Prechtel
