Bio

I was born in NYC and have lived on Long Island all my life.
I studied fine art and interior design. I worked in the trade until 2009 when I literally woke up one morning unable to walk and in constant severe pain. Since then nothing has changed.
My son Alex died of leukemia in 1997. FAG has been a WONDERFUL place to stay connected to him.
I thank all the kind people I've met on this site for their friendship and support.

10/12/14
Again I ask your indulgence as I continue this saga. On 9/27 I was admitted yet again to the hospital. On top of everything else, I have 4 herniated lumbar discs. On 10/3/14 I was placed in a wonderful Rehabilitation Care Center here on LI. The OT PT dept are outstanding. I'm up to 3hrs a day 1to1 therapy and they are optimistic I will walk again. I'm dealing with the pain without opiates. I'm determined. It's going to be a long road. I will start trying to make visits on my down time when I have energy. I'll start with the top and work my way through so please be patient I'll get there and will visit as often as I can.
God bless you all.
