I am inquiring about #1306807 M. Mat Estes. I not only work on my own family history, I am attempting my husbands as well. The Estes family whom most were living in the Trenton MO area. My husbands Great Grandfather was known as Major Estes and as far as any of the family ever knew his first name was in fact, "Major" DOD 3/24/1909. I have been unable to find him or his wife Rachel Toliver Estes, DOD 6/10/1920. I know that Major was sold as a slave at the age of 5 before moving to MO where his owner gave him a piece of land of his own before marrying and having his family.
Since my name is also Linda Estes, it seemed only to coincidental that possibly you may have any information that may help me.
Frank Hair Linda, I'm trying to eliminate a duplication. I was wondering if you would be willing to delete Frank Hair #5054923 and transfer my Grandmother Audie Hair and brother to the Francis Hair #49456162. Looking at both I think yours might cause the least amount of headache. If not let me know if there is anything I could help with. v/r Johnny Meek
