Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the son of Harry R. Boileau and Sarah Louise Kilgore. My parents lived in Ainsworth, IA when I was born in 1944. At the age of 5 we moved to Washington, IA. I am a member of the Washington High School class of 1962. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran.

In 1968 I married Karen K. Deatsch, daughter of Romuald F. Deatsch and Gladys M. Kron, of rural Riverside, IA.

The names that I am researching for our family tree:

My paternal side:
Boileau, Smith, Vinton, Coen
My maternal side:
Kilgore, Wallace, Purvis

My wife's paternal side:
Deatsch, Birrer, Rummelhart
My wife's maternal side:
Kron, Kleopher, Kiefer

I happened upon Find A Grave when doing family research and found it to be a valuable tool. Also learning that volunteer work made it possible I decided to "pitch in." In addition, I also contribute to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project. There is a great deal of satisfaction in honoring our predecessors. As a result I have heard from people across the country and enjoy helping them when possible.

Genevieve Lulu Washburn Bowers
Genevieve's first, and most beloved, husband was George Clinton Wilson. She was buried next to him. George was my father's favorite brother. If you are not related to either Genevieve or George please transfer ownership to me. Regardless of your decision, thank you for creating the memorial for my aunt.

Mr. Boileau, I would like to know if you are related to Eliza or her husband. They would be my Great Great Grandparents.
Thanks, Victoria Matthews

I am a Boileau too on the Paternal side. With help I created a great family tree on going back pretty far. I have even more info I did not put up yet. Most those Boileau's were in Michigan and French Canada though.

Thanks so much for helping me correct a duplicate memorial and relink the family members. The system works and is what makes Find A Grave such a great site. Thanks for your contributions to it.
