" Are All The Children In "
I think oftimes, as night draws nigh,
Of an old farmhouse on a hill,
Of a yard all wide and blossom-starred
Where the children played at will;
And when the night at last came down,
Hushing the merry din,
Mother would look around and ask,
"Are all the children in?
'This many and many a year since then,
And the old house on the hill
No longer echoes to childrens feet,
And the yard is still........so still;
But I see it all as the shadows creep,
And tho' many the years have been,
Since then I can still hear mother ask,
"Are all the children in?'
I wonder if when the shadows fall
On that last short, earthly day,
When we say good-bye to the world outside,
All tired from our childish play;
When we step out into that Other Land,
Where mother has long since been,
Will we hear her ask, just as of old-
"Are all the children in?"

I appreciate your work... we all do the best we can with what we have in my opinion.... Dates that reflect unknown to me only give a threaf of information, you will see that what has been enter if you recheck birth and death dates are provided...as a duplicate what I have entered reflects more information than unknown, that being the case I feel that removing what I have to reflect someone with and unknown B and D as well as place of b and d would not be appropriate....thank you for your help...

|Gary Biggs||RE: Rachel Beggs Frick #139375723|
Thank you for the site address for Rachel's obit. I want to include it on her page in my tree. I didn't mean for you to transfer Rachel's memorial to me. I was perfectly fine with you being the manager. Rachel was a first cousin 4x removed, so our relationship isn't that close. As I mentioned before, many sincere thanks for the excellent memorial you created for Rachel. gb
|Gary Biggs||Rachel Beggs Frick #139375723|
Vickie, Many sincere thanks for the memorial you established for Rachel. I am interested in the bio you submitted for her. Do you know whether that was an obit, and if so, do you know the source? The Beggs family is my paternal line, so I've been gathering as much information as possible abt the family. I was intrigued to learn that Rachel's father Archibald Beggs may have served in the Mexican American War. This is totally new information. Again, many thanks. Gary Biggs
|Lynn||Amanda Rauch Kendall/Pulley|
This Find-a-Grave for Amanda Rauch Kendall/Pulley needs to be corrected. The information is actually Dr. Frederick Kendall's (Amanda's first husband's) information. Frederick is my great grandfather's brother. Any chance you can correct this or transfer this to me? Thank you so much! Lynn
