Bio

I enjoy performing random acts of genealogical kindness. If you need a little one performed, from the comfort of my computer desk, you're welcome to ask and I'll see what I can dig up for you. (Sometimes a set of "fresh" eyes can unlock a mystery.)
I became interested in genealogy when my grandpa, Ernest Athel BAZE died and I inherited his lifetime's worth of genealogical work. He painstakingly researched and wrote by hand on several sheets of paper as much information about our family as he could. My!! How times have changed since the computer was invented, what took him a lifetime to accumulate, will take me a lifetime to fully confirm, prove and document sources... and add their decendants!
Many of the submissions I have made to findagrave are people that I am not related to and will gladly transfer "ownership" of such memorials to a family member or person willing to remain responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the memorial. I'm currently keenly aware of how finite our lifespans are, as I struggled to help my mother with her failed battle against metastatic breast cancer. I find that I don't have the time to keep up with my genealogical research and am looking to transfer memorials to someone that has the time and energy for it. If you're interested in the "job" let me know and I'll start transferring memorials to you.
Cousins, you are welcome to contact me! Let's share what we know about our side of the family to enable our descendants to more fully piece together the family tree.
