Born in Oklahoma City, I remain at longtime resident. Currently I am the Executive Director of the Casey Family Assn. Inc.; compiling and researching the Casey family history since 1992, and personally since circa 1982.|
Our particular Clan Casey, even prior to 1725, when it first arrived on American shores, has been predominately Scots-Irish Protestants in faith and loyalties. No offense to Casey clans of other persuasions.
US Navy veteran: CTR3 (Communications Technician, R-brancher), USN (1967-1971). I'm looking for any and all former NSG Hakata, Japan CTs.
I support transfers to known relatives! After all, who is better qualified to manage a memorial than someone with a caring, kinship interest. However, please be somewhat specific in your requests. "This is a relative's memorial" will not suffice in the future. If you're only third cousins, five times removed, please just let me know. I'll probably transfer. Unfortunately, it only takes a few to make the majority of good contributors look bad.
And please let me know if you wish any of my photos removed. Especially the temporary grave markers, in lieu of permanent.
Stop by and pay a visit to my hero dad, Sgt. Raymond L. Casey.

And thank you Mike for creating the memorial.
The Lea Family had three generations that produced Medical Doctors for rural East Tennessee counties. From the 1820's into the 1920's.That recognition is now linked on Find A Grave.

Well, how wonderful, Mike. I've got several very elderly relatives that I take my parents around to visit on a regular basis and they always love to see my genealogy research but they love seeing the Find A Grave site, especially when they can see the headstones. Then when links to other relatives are there it's just so much easier to show them. I have a question while I have your attention. How do you add the links like you did in the bio? I've got several memorials I manage that I'd like to add some links to like that. -Chris Benge
