Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my family surnames on my Father's side (Galloway/Carter/Cook/Oliver (SC/AL/GA) and my Mother's side Traffenstead/Traffanstedt/Garrett (AL/GA/TN/SC) Hartsfield/Cross (AR). I've been interested in geneaology since August 2006 when I started looking for my Mother's biological family whom I found within 2 weeks. From my Mother's side, I am Catawba Indian "People Of The River", German, and British. I'm still working on my Father's side.

Please take a moment and visit my family. Thank you so much.

ALL FLOWERS ARE DEEPLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR VISITING MY LOVED ONES.

If I have offended anyone, please let me know and I will remove the memorial of your loved one. If you aren't a part of Find A Grave, you can still contact me through the edit tab of the memorial. I don't mean to offend anyone. All memorials are created out of respect. The purpose of me adding names is because I believe that people should never be forgotten, and also I like to help people who are searching for their ancestors. I am so thankful for Find A Grave because not only have I found many of my ancestors, I have found many related family members alive.

I will be happy to transfer memorials that are a part of your family with the exception of the ones of my family within Find A Grave's 4 generations guidelines. Any requests outside the 4 generations will be made on an individual basis. You MUST state the relationship with your ID number. All RUDE requests will be ignored!

Duplicates - These are errors, and not created on purpose. I search before I create a memorial and after every time. Please bring any errors or duplicates to my attention so I can correct them. If I have created a memorial and you create a duplicate, do not send me a message that the one I created is a dupe and for me to delete. I will not delete any memorials if you created a dupe. Don't create a dupe memorial just because you're related. If you are family, kindly ask for a transfer or you can add photos and send me information to be added and I'll be glad to add it. If you are within the 4 generations, please ask for a transfer. Please read the FAQ's for this site on creating memorials.

Feel free to use my photos 📷 as long as you give me credit and do not make any money off them.

Obit for his full sister, my mother, that can be added. If you would like me to care for this transfer to me. New at this. I now Jack had two kids, no idea where they are.

Betty Jean Bradford, 83, of Taft, formerly of Vinemont, Ala., passed away Wednesday (July 9, 2014) at Boulevard Terrace Health Care in Murfreesboro. She was born July 11, 1930 to John Gordon and Bessie Frye Allred. Mrs. Bradford was a devoted wife of 64 years, a mother, homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm raising vegetables. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Bradford; son, Steve Bradford; sisters, Fannie Jones, Peggy Joyce Allred Linley; brothers, Hulon, Gordon, Jack, Ralph, James and Hugh Allred. Survivors include her son, John Bradford; daughters, Barbara Shelton and Sherry Lynn Bradford; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery, Vinemont, with Bro. Van Johnson officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Boulevard Terrace for their love and care for Mrs. Bradford. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to local animal shelters. Moss-Service Funeral Home, Cullman, in charge of arrangements.

Question about Harry Chastain
You are listed as the person responsible for the page of Harry Chastain, 1918 to 2001 and also the photo. He would be my grand uncle, being the brother of my grandmother Thelma Chastain Hutchins. I have a question please. Is there anyone buried next to him? in the cemetery? The wife I have on record was Mary Ernestine Adams and she died in 1978 but I cannot find where she is buried. And I am also curious if Harry remarried. Thanks for your help.

Grave photos
Hi Dana

Glad to hear from you and grateful that you are doing well. I fulfilled a few more request but no need to respond. Some of request are unmarked. Hopefully they will be marked when I come to Alabama next year.

Lula Stinson - Only one recent grave. Has to be her but unmarked. (Mt Zion)
Annie Key - Maybe in Memorial Garden or in unmarked in Camp Hill-Mt Lovely cemetery.
Dora Tinsley - Unmarked at Baskins.

If no one gets them, I will be looking in the fall

Jim
