|Bio and Links|
I was born in Los Angeles but lived most of my life in San Francisco. I will always remember those who influenced my life... but especially my dear friends who live on in my spirit. I want to make sure they will never be forgotten or their lives taken for granted.|
I am a proud direct descendant of William Sprague who came to America in 1629 aboard the ship "Lyon's Whelp". Two of my direct ancestors were Revolutionary War heroes. Another fought in the Civil War and was wounded in the battle at Stone's River in Tennessee. Further back I am directly descended from King Louis VII, Henry I, II and III and Saint Margaret among others. These people led extraordinary lives and inspire me every day.
I am honored to have written the biographies for the following famous people here on findagrave... Tyrone Power, Irene Dunne, Janet Gaynor, Erich Von Stroheim, Helmut Newton, David Brian, Charles Ives, Ernest Tidyman, Eugen Sandow, Lorin Maazel, Martinus Sieveking, Samuel H. Kress, Bronislaw Kaper, Albert Frey, Fontella Bass, Clifton A. Sprague, Governor of Virginia Frederick W. M. Holliday.

|Louis Mata||RE: Lauren Bacall|
Wow, how cool that your aunt knew her!
Thanks for the kind words about her bio.
|Susan Swindell||RE: Julia Ann Sprague|
I would love more information. I descend through Mary Ransopher the youngest child of Aaron and Julia. I recently spent a lot of time trying to sort out all the Julia's. But it was fun.

|Linda in Placitas, NM||RE: James Sprague and Susanna Rice|
I too thought Susanna was the daughter of Zachariah RICE and his wife Abigail, but she is NOT. I found a posting at http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.bedford/4362/mb.ashx which put me on the right track. Se I went to the Bedford, PA courthouse, the Hist Society, & the PA archives to do research. Found the land sale noted in the above post, which confirms her father as George Rife plus other land sales, tax, & probate records. Also at http://www.pa-roots.org/data/read.php?49,233919 they give her name as Rife in the marriage records. I think someone long ago decided the F should be a C and changed it. Zachariah's daughter Susan married someone else. Also went to Zaneville, OH and held James' probate records in my hands! It was an extremely successful trip. Some of the docs are on our family tree website on their page - http://www.jtbullock.com/Tree/Richardson.html. Send me your email address to the email you find on the Listing Page on that site & I will forward you the pertinent docs.
Yes I have all 11 kids, I guess I just never updated the memorial bios. Will do that too.

Thank you for such a lovely bio for Casey. He was my hero when we were in fourth grade. he was a dedicated pen pal to me as well. We lost touch when I married and I have been searching for him. My heart sunk when I found him here. Thank you again for being so thoughtful and the kind words for the boy who taught me to swim.
It's great to meet another ancestor of Grandfather William Sprague. Have a great day!

|G.Photographer||RE: Roy Larson Raymond|
Thank you for letting me know that you added Mr. Raymond's photo to his memorial page. While I wasn't the contributor who added him to findagrave, I did write the bio that his currently on his memorial and I agree with you that he should be listed as famous. Unfortunately when I submited the bio to administration, they decided that he was not.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the virtual cemetery I put together of San Francisco mayors. With all the confusion surrounding the history of cemeteries in the city, it has been one of my main goals to locate the final resting places of all of the city's mayors. I still have a few that are unaccounted for but with any luck, I hope that I can evenutally track them all down.
