|I have done genealogy for my family many years. I am also a look-up volunteer for several genealogy websites. Now I am in the process of mapping the Burns, OR cemetery and making a list of all the burials there, marked or not. I am trying to make sure all of them are posted on Find A Grave. Due to the large number of graves I have added (over 2,000 and still adding), I do not have the time to personally add info to the individual graves. I am very willing to transfer ownership of any of the Burns graves so the proper info can be added to each one.|

Wondering about unmarked grave 100232716, Burns Oregon - for Steven Gary Hogan. Do you know how I can find an obit for him? Have checked internet -no luck. And does "unmarked grave" mean no headstone I wonder? Would the cemetery office have info on file for additional info for an obit...

Hi. I just wanted to add to your older email and say when I was at this cemetery some stones were toppled and some weren't in no specific order - a couple of "Like" family stones were huge and toppled. I heard tornadoes have hit these cemeteries, vandalism and then there's always cows or dears needing their backs scratched - I just think it's weird and always wonder why. Burr

I have a copy of her obituary if you would like to add it to her memorial

Not having the time to personally add info to the individual graves I understand. That data not posted each memorial can be added in a timely fashion a few days later by another person would normally be accepable.
BUT trying to access that data 3 or more years later with that data is NO longer available on line or off line is NOT acceptable by this contributor. Therefore I suggest when that data is available PLEASE POST IT TO THE MEMORIAL.
WHY?? My grandfather tried to tell me about his parents, his grandparents and great-grandparents. I was not interested because of some stupid reason then. NOW I wished I was not stupid and wrote down all that data. That data is now lost and can not link my great great grandparents to their parents.

Thank you for the transfer. Keep up your hard work.
You deserve a heartfelt "thank you" and bear hugs for the terrific work you're doing to document the graves in the Burns Cemetery. As one who has deep roots in the area, I find it gratifying that this effort is finally being made. Keep up the great work!

I spotted the names you entered into the Burns Cemetery in Harney co OR
They are my SIL grandparents and uncle Emil. Theycame from St Joseph MO in the late 1920's. He was a stonemason-Joesph Cueni.
If you wish to transfer them to me I can fill in all the pertinent info and some obits I have obtained.
Thanks just let me know which way you would like to go.

This is my younger brother, Ira Scott Brown. Thank you for adding his information, means so much. If you would like to transfer his memorial to me, I'd be happy to take it over. Thanks, Angela Brown Kehrer
